Available Groceries/Meals

Meals are all self-serve.
Local stores have groceries available, however the quantity and variety is somewhat limited compared to what you are probably used to in your hometown. Nevertheless, all the basics can be found.
Fresh baked goods and fruits and vegetables are available through small vendors. Conch, grouper, snapper, lobster (when in season) can be purchased upon availability. The local beverage store is stocked with liquor, beer and wine.

Please bring specialty items with you, i.e. special foods to meet dietary needs, coffee beans, expensive wines, cheeses, etc. Vegtables are not allowed into the country.

There are a few small bar and grilles that serve the local fare for lunch and dinner, for dine-in or take-out service. Expect to meet out Bahamian friends & drink the local beer - no fancy drinks here!
